Cities of California

California is one of the most beautiful states. Desert and the mountain regions dominate the topography. The state derived its name from one of the romantic literary pieces that was circulated in the early 16th century, 1510 to be precise.
The book narrated the story of an island near the Indies, when a queen named Califia reined. The country was that of the beautiful black race Amazonians, that possessed vast treasures of gold and pearl. Drawing a parallel, from that it is said that the Californian coast had pearls in abundance.
In the modern era, California has evolved from being ruled by the wild Amazonian race and at present records a population strength of 36,457, 549. It also happens to be one of the biggest states in the United States of America.
